Powell Street Brewery Limited Edition Release

Powell Street Brewery is launching their 4th Anniversary Ale, available for sale in bottles at the brewery on December 15 starting at 2pm. The new brew is a Barleywine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Brettanomyces Lambicus. This straw coloured lager is made in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot, brewed with 100% malted barley and the finest German hops and a yeast strain direct from Munich. High Point – Nikka Coffee Grain Whisky

This particular Grain Whisky is distilled in a “Coffey still”, which is a very traditional and rare patent still Nikka imported from Scotland in 1963.
