There’s an easy way to help homeless cats and kittens in the Lower Mainland and it won’t cost you any additional time or money.Simply continue to do your everyday shopping at your favorite stores by using gift cards purchased through VOKRA. When you purchase these gift cards through us, the store will donate a percentage of your purchase to help us care for cats and kittens.
There are more than 70 different retailers registered, including grocery and department stores, restaurants, gas stations, movie theaters and spas, and each one will give you full value on your gift card. But every time you buy, you’ll also be helping to make life better for the many cats and kittens in our care. Just think how much more enjoyable your shopping will become!

Deadlines for orders are noon on the 15th and 30th of each month

VOKRA receives the gift cards approximately 5-7 days after the order deadline. You can then either pick up your cards at our Operation Centre or we will mail them to you.

For your convenience there are three easy ways to pay for your gift cards:
1. Interac email money transfers: Send the payment to vokragiftcards@gmail.com. Don’t forget to send a separate email with the answer to the security question! Detailed instructions are on the order form.
2. By cheque: Please mail your cheque payment to 2028 Wall Street, Vancouver, BC V5L 1B1. If you would like a standing order of gift cards, you can include post-dated cheques.
3. By Paypal: You will be invoiced from VOKRA’s paypal account. The amount will be the order total + 1.6% to cover the Paypal processing fees.
