Along the East Village strip of East Hastings and Penticton is a hidden gem tucked away that has been involved with the community for years. Mis’cel’la’ny Finds is run by a small group of dedicated women that set up shop to support the work of Women Working with Women (W4), a non-profit organization that provides life skills and employment resources to women in transition. Mis’cel’la’ny supports the community and shoppers in the district by providing low cost clothing and household items. It also provides a place where the community can recycle consciously. In addition it provides free clothing and household items to women in transition houses. Mis’cel’la’ny accepts donations and welcomes volunteers.
