New UPCC Opens in East Village

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) has partnered with the Ministry of Health, Vancouver Division of Family Practice and Providence Health Care to open a new Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) in Northeast Vancouver.

A UPCC is a community-based centre that is open to those who need health care within 12 – 24 hours, but whose conditions are not life-threatening and do not require a trip to the emergency department.

The new Northeast UPCC is located in the Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood at 102-2788 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, and is open:

  • Monday – Saturday: 8am – 10pm
  • Sundays and holidays: 9am – 5pm

(The last patient will be accepted one hour before closing.)
