Meet James at Storm Brewing, 310 Commercial Drive. Storm is the oldest operating craft brewery in East Van, renowned for producing innovative, unpretentious, award-winning craft beers since 1993. “I like making things,” said James, modestly. “I’m a good cook, too.” (Which comes as no surprise when you consider some of his creations: Vanilla Whisky Stout, Basil IPA, Chai Pale Ale, and Granny Smith Apple Pie Ale).
