The husband and wife duo have been operating the small garage since October, after moving back to the Lower Mainland from Nelson, B.C. “I love making customers happy that their car is fixed, and it’s not a million dollars,” said Brad, who notes that their building has been a mechanic shop since the 1950’s (before that, he’s told, it was a local dairy). “We’re helping people maintain their cars and keep them on the road safely,” said Kate, who loves that people in the community make a point of supporting local businesses.
