Meet the veterinary care team at Blue Cross Pet Hospital: Dr. Monica, Dr. Fidel, Brenda, Kara, and Lily the cat. Dr. Monica and Dr. Fidel took over the long-standing practice in November, and are excited to be working in the community. “I grew up in East Van,” said Dr. Monica, who lives nearby. “I love working in my community.” Dr. Fidel also lives in the area with his family; his kids attend school nearby. He recognizes the importance of the companionship that pets provide, and loves being able to nurture the human-animal bond. “We like making other people’s lives happier,” said Dr. Monica.
