East Village Brunch Round-Up

The East Village is your Brunch option destination. Here’s some deliciously awesome Brunch location options, just to name a few. There’s so many yummy meals to choose from.

Tell ‘em we sent you.

Just Waffles - 3531 E Hastings St.

At Just Waffles, owners Kathy and Calvin Klein specialize in Belgian liège waffles. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, we’ve got you covered with our fan-favourite “Nutella Lovers” and “S’more Strawberry” waffles. If you’re looking for something savoury, try a “Ham and Bacon Benny” from our all-day breakfast menu or a “Pulled Pork Pizza Waffle” for something new. We even offer real alligator sausages for the adventurous eaters out there! Come in today for some bottomless coffee and a “wafflely” great time! (FRIDAY/MONDAY: 10am - 3pm SATURDAY/SUNDAY: 9am - 3pm)

Pallet Coffee - 323 Semlin Dr.

Established in 2014 and nestled in the heart of East Vancouver, our journey began at our very first Pallet location on Semlin Drive. From choosing mural colours and wood finishes to roasting our vey first beans, we were dedicated to bringing coffee love to our community. What started as a modest cafe quickly evolved into a hub of culinary and coffee connoisseurship that didn't just end with in our walls and inspired our mission; to create spaces where specialty coffee wasn't just a luxury, but a daily delight accessible to everyone and that extended to every corner of our community. (MONDAY - SUNDAY: 8am - 3pm)

Red Waggon - 2128 E Hastings St.

East Van born & bred, The Red Wagon Cafe has been a neighborhood joint since 2010. In 2020 we moved down the road (just two blocks) to a larger room at 2128 East Hastings. Same stove top, same great food. The Red Wagon Café was established with the aim of it being an inclusive spot where everyone is welcome, and everyone gets well fed. All our meats are smoked, cured, and prepared in house. Our coffee is roasted locally by JJ Bean, and our Red Wagon Lager is produced by neighborhood beer gurus Powell Street Brewing. (EVERYDAY 9am – 2:30pm)

Roundel Café - 2465 E Hastings St.

We are powered by people, by diversity and by a collective mission to serve delicious food and happy experiences to the city of Vancouver. We have been proudly serving wholesome, locally-sourced breakfast and lunch in the Hastings Sunrise community since 2006. (EVERYDAY 9am - 3pm)

Yama Café - 2007 E Hastings St.

Yama cafe provides a relaxed atmosphere for those seeking a break from the noisy daily life. Come, sit, relax, and experience both traditional & fusion Japanese comfort food, drinks and baking, all crafted with great care and attention to detail. (TUESDAY-SATURDAY 9AM - 3PM)

Yolks - 1598 E Hastings St.

Yolks little blue trailer hit the streets of Vancouver in 2012 with three signature food items: perfectly poached egg sandwiches, truffle lemon potato skewers and housemade spicy ketchup. To this day we assemble our egg sandwiches the exact same way - a perfectly poached egg, wedged between a buttery brioche bun or double toasted english muffin topped with house-made hollandaise, accompanied with a taster of our baked beans, and fresh sliced seasonal fruit. (MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-3pm)
