“Kanadell” the Japanese word Kanadelu (奏でる）is a barb briefly meaning ‘making a great sounds with object in great harmony”. Japanese often use this barb for to describe nature’s beauty, like when waterfall and birds making great sounds together in the nature. Owner chef Keiko Nakanishi’s wish is for Kanadell to be a great harmony in between Japanese & Canadian foods & cultures. She hopes Kanadell’s baking makes everyone happy, and raise more interests for Japan – her always beloved amazing country!
