Eastside Arts Festival

Join Us for a Hands-On Community Art Experience!

SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, July 19

WHERE: Kamloops Plaza | 2–5 PM |

Free & Family-Friendly

Eastside Arts is bringing a unique public art project to Kamloops Plaza—one that invites you to create and reveal.

Together, we’ll start with a collaborative painting made from vibrant colors and recycled materials. Then, the entire piece will be covered in white plaster, hiding the artwork underneath.

Here’s where it gets interactive:
As you gently touch the surface, the plaster will crack and fall away—slowly uncovering the colorful layers beneath and transforming the piece before your eyes.

This project turns traditional art-viewing on its head: you’re not just allowed to touch—you’re invited to!

Drop in anytime between 2 and 5 PM. No tickets needed. All are welcome.
Come create, reveal, and rediscover the power of recycled art.

🎨 Led by artist Clotilde Orozco
