Magpie’s Nest Community Art Space will provide an opportunity for people to express themselves in a positive way through words and art. This process is known as art journaling. It is a creative way to motivate people to record their stories, feelings and ideas. The theme of our program is inspired by Betsy Greer’s craftivism project: “You are so very beautiful”. We’ll be creating uplifting messages to remind ourselves and others that we are all capable, beautiful, and important people. Everyone will be most welcome to join us each month to create positive messages that start with “You are…”. We will provide materials and supplies, but participants are welcome to bring their own art journals to work in. 6:30pm – 8:30pm
