Come and join a cleanup and meet your neighbours!
Cleanups are scheduled as a group activity at the Hastings Sunrise Community Policing Centre. Cleanups have a huge impact on our local neighbourhoods. Removing litter not only makes the neighbourhood cleaner, it also makes it safer. Research has shown that systematic removal of garbage can greatly reduce crime, vandalism and mischief.
Volunteers are asked to meet up at 2620 East Hastings.at 10 am. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Tongs, gloves and bags are supplied by City of Vancouver’s Neighbourhood Cleanup Party team
