Introduction to Loom Weaving
In this workshop we will learn how to weave using a rigid heddle loom. Over the course of three classes, we will weave a sampler, learn how to prepare the loom with a warp and finally weave a wall hanging or a scarf.
Minimum 3 and maximum 4 participants.
MATERIALS NEEDED: Yarn! All materials will be provided for the sampler, and then the second project can be woven with yarns decided upon by the instructor and student. We will encourage students to experiment with materials so if there is a yarn you want to weave with, bring it and of course, there is yarn available for purchase here!
Class registration includes loom rental for three weeks and yarn for the sampler–first project. A refundable deposit of $80 will be collected before the first class for the loom rental.

I feel like I keep on talking about process, etc. a lot lately, but genuinely, I think that's why I'm launched my own shop. I miss / crave / need the process of using my hands in a very tactile way. And if I'm honest, the idea of weaving my heart into a piece and sending it off to a new home, where new hearts and new memories are made just kinda makes my little sappy heart happy ????????
