The Under One Umbrella Society in partnership with Watari is proud to announce our 10th annual Homeless Connect event will be held on Saturday, March 18th, from 11am to 3pm at the Maritime Labour Centre (1880 Triumph Street).
Many thanks to the City of Vancouver who have once again granted us the seed funding to host anyone from the community who may be struggling with homelessness or are having a hard time in East Vancouver. Under One Umbrella Homeless Connect is a “one-stop shop” service fair where folks can connect with a variety of services and resources all in one place on one day. Come and connect with the services you need. Everyone is welcome!
Since 2007 our grassroots group has been working towards solutions to homelessness in part by holding this annual community event. More donations and volunteers are needed. For more information, please feel free to get in touch at uousociety@gmail.com.
