Meet Nolan at Steam Tea House, 2342 E. Hastings (inside Donald’s Market). Nolan has sold single estate and micro-batch tea from the smallest tea shop in Vancouver for two years, and loves being able to cup and discuss all the different teas he sells. He also loves the vibrant area. “I love the sense of community here,” he says. “Especially around Donald’s Market. It’s really the anchor of the neighbourhood. I see so many people bump into each other here or make new friends, especially here at the tea bar.” Nolan is currently working on two new tea blends: a black currant tea, and a vanilla rooibos latte mix.
